What doesn't work? GW doesn't load?
You can also try remaking the shortcut. Open the folder that has the GW executable in it (usually c:\program files\guild wars), right click on the GW.exe icon (has the helmet as an icon), then click on create shortcut on the menu that appears. Move the new shortcut to your desktop.
Hope that helps!

No, GW does load. But the graphics are horrible. :S
Etta
um,..so you removed the -no shader, and still GW load without any shader?
Puzzle....., hit F11 and in the graphic setting, see if the shader option set to none, if yes just set it back to highest.

In the GuildWars options menu, click on "Auto Detection", this should re-detect your video / system ability.

I tried that too. And it still looks very ugly

Uninstall GW, restart the computer, and then reinstall.
Try that.
