I recently got an elite ranger tome and would like opinions on which elite to choose. I am in the process of leveling my pet and I thought Heal as One would be very helpfull because it would free up some skill slots because it heals both me and the pet and acts as a ressurect also. But i am also thinking about barrage because it looks very good.

Which do you think I should unlock first? I like using my pet for poisen and bleeding on enemies.

Thanks for any input!

Depending on which game(s) you have, I'd be more inclined to use it on one of the harder to cap skills, such as punishing shot, which is out in the middle of snake-dance. Barrage and Heal as One are both pretty easy to get (Heal as One is just outside the Jade Flats and Barrage is a core skill and thus located in numerous places)

I'm not far along in the games really with this ranger though...in factions good pug groups are a pain to get imo. It's not really a matter of how easy they are its how far along a person is on the maps etc..

I feel all elites are easy to get its (I come from the days when we had to work for the elites not pay for them lol) anyways I wish my maps on all three of my campaigns were uncovered/unlocked but they arent for all of my toons.

If you have Nightfall do not use it for Barrage. You can cap it early on in the quest to rescue Koss soon after you reach the mainland (the boss in the fort where Koss is has that elite). If you're serious about leveling your pet it depends on if you want it to be dire or don't care about its evolution. Enraged Lunge is a great skill in most dire pet builds. Heal as One is long into Factions so you might be inclined to get that but I've always found the Prophecies elites to be the ones you want to get with Balt faction since many of them only have a chance to appear in one of the spots they usually spawn in sometimes making repeat trips necessary.

You might want to look into [skill]Enraged Lunge[/skill] if you are interested in Beastmastery. It will add a BIG boost to your dps in a BM build. An average hit with Enraged with enough skills recharging will be 90-100+ depending on your target's armor. The condition is also easy to meet since you can toss in skills with long recharge times like Call of Haste and Otygh's Cry to make your pet attack/run faster and be unblockable.
