What Title Do You Wear?

Title hunting seems to be a popular pass time in GW, so I am curious with all the new titles available which ones you choose to wear and why.

Do you find one that stands out as admirable or desirable?

for instance do you find a vanquisher title > KoaBD

let us know which titles you have to choose from as well and which you are working on and would like to have

Do titles ever effect who you choose to have in a pug with you? Do you even notice which title people are using?

Do you set goals for getting titles and timelines?

I am curious as to how imprtant titles have become in GW and what direction we are heading with gaining titles.

I wear my Hero title since thats really the only not crap title I have (cba with the whole title thing really anyway)

I think it depends on your goal.

If you are trying to sell/buy, wear the treasure hunter/wisdom titles, to show to your buyer/seller that you know what youre talking about.

If you are pugging a mission in HM, wear your protector title.

If you are in PvP at HA, wear your hero title.

so on and so forth.

I like to wear my protector of cantha on my assassin, and my skillz and mighty hero on my other charrs. I've worked hard for them.

I also wear my r2 treasure hunter on my necro

I would like to get guardian of cantha of my assassin though

I'm usually wearing Legendary Survivor title, that's the one i'm most proud of. When in pvp I alternate between that and my hero one.

Was born in Tyria, raised in Tyria, cartographed Tyria then left for a while to "protector" other lands, then returned to my precious land of Tyria one it was in peril again (HM) - Guardian of Tyria - is not just what i wear, its what i AM!

I wear Lightbringer mostly, because otherwise I forget to put it on before facing Margonites and their buddies.

Any title with the word Tryia in for me thats where i was born and raised. I will occasionally wear my LB title when in DoA but other than that i wont wear any of my other titles.

Usually canthan chartographer (need 0.2%) but i mostly have lightbringer as its too useful.
when making teams in some later nightfall missions, i do actually see this title as a requirment

Actually, I prefer not to trade with people who have Treasure Hunter/Wisdom titles, as they generally are scrubs who can run in circles in easy zones, or people who can pay lots for unid's.

I wear:

Legendary Spearmarshal (10) on my Warrior (come on...it was Legendary! that and my KoaBD is too common now)

Vanquishing Hero (8) on my Elementalist (it's that or Lightbringer...)


Whatever else on the others.

Personally, there's not many titles that impress me. Exploration is ok, Protectors are super easy, Treasure Hunter/Wisdom are slow grind, Survivor is farmable, all the others are just grind. The new Hard Mode ones are a bit better, but still silly grind. Hell, even the Hero title was farmable with IWAY and Blood Spike.

The only titles that I think are impressive now, are the People Know Me/I'm Very Important, but only on difficult characters to get it on. Such as: Assassin, Paragon, Dervish, Ranger, etc etc.

Usually I use my maxed Lightbringer title. Useful and charming!

i usually wear my Conquering Glad, although i get PKM on when i trashtalk RA. ;p

though, once i'd get my vanquisher on my monk, i'd wear that. ^_^

On my PvE characters I just wear my non-max LB title, can't be bothered to have to switch that on and off all the time. On my PvP's either nothing or my first level gladiator title, although that doesn't mean that much.

I've got a monk in pre-searing that made Drunkard while working on Legendary Defender of Ascalon. Once I make LDOA, I will sport that one after I leave pre-searing for quite some time. I am sure I will receive both awe and mockery for that one.

My necro was wearing a Protector of Tyria for a while, but now is usually showing of her wisdom title and working on Grandmaster for Tyria.

My dervish made Survivor, but has since made Holy Lightbringer (thanks to Hard Mode) so I sport that and to top it off, it is actually useful in the later parts of Nightfall.

If I am doing something in NF that requires it, I wear my LB title, otherwise it's KoaBD.

My Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer title.

100% canthan cartographer.

When I get to level 10 Lb i'll just wear that one.

Depends on what I feel like. Usually Guardian of Tyria or Tyrian GMC since I really enjoy Tyria.

Of course when I go out to the Realm of Torment it is Holy Lightbringer and when I HA it is the hero title.

Drunkard at all times, except when I'm fighting demons.

I generally wear Lightbringer b/c I spend a good deal of time in NF and since the Sunspear title doesn't actually do anything(nor will it b/c I'm not going to HM for quite a while). I'll probably wear Elonian Cartographer when it gets to 90%. Its pretty funny that my Tyrian Necro has more of the Elonian map than the Tyrian map.
