well i took my prophies warrior to cantra and elona and found i coulndt do hm, do i need to unlock something or can u only do modes' in your place of origin?

no...to unlock HM, you have to beat each campaign with 1 character.

And apparently, you need to log in/log out with the character who's finished the campaign first, in order to unlock HM in that campaign for your other chars to do. At least, that's what a couple people I know had to do.

Yup, you have to beat that chapter with any one of your characters...and then all your level 20s will have access to hard-mode in the chapters that at least one of your characters have finished.

but in order to "make it available" to all lvl 20 toons on your account you have to log in with the toon that "beat" that specific campaign.
