Mo/E 13HP - Farm The Scar Eater (Video Included!)

Hi! Have a monk and want to get a scar eater fast? Fear No more.. you don't have to form groups inorder to farm for this! This guide is very simple and easy to understand.

Equipements:
*-20HP offhand (Reward for completing "Poor Tenant" quest in pre searing Ascalon, or you can buy from other players easily)
*Basic 55 monk Armor set.. you know the deal! (dont need the Grim Cesta -50HP)

12 Earth Magic
10 Healing Prayers
9 Smiting Prayers
13 Protection Prayers
3 Divine Favor

Tips and Advice:
1.) Go out from Vasburg Armory, as soon as you load, check the first group in front of the Res Shrine. Check the image below for more details. Check the group whether he have a Pain hungry gaki or Skill Hungry gaki, if they do, go back to Vasburg and respawn, then check again, until the group i mentioned doesn't have gakis with them.


2.) When your successful with #1, proceed on killing yourself as shown on the video! Cast your enchantments, by this time using the equipments i mentioned and with 15% death penality, your health will be at 13hp. Hold ctrl and look for The Scar Eater, target it. Maintain your target on The Scar Eater so you'll know how to go back to him when you try to agro the group in #1.

3.) When you are just in front of The Scar Eater, cast Scourge Healing on him and after, cast Glyph of Renewal on yourself. Right after casting these two important skills, cast Sliver Armor. The Glyph of Renewal skill is to be able to cast Sliver Armor right after it stops.

Why do you have such high divine favor? Blessed aura only works on monk enchantments, so it wouldent extend Sliver armour. I say you should drop some DF and put it in smiting and prot, and maybey switch out blessed aura for maybe soa. Other than that, its a good build.

this is a pretty nice in depth guide, but as for the usage: there are plenty of other builds around to farm the scar eater. as well, it isnt very rare anymore and goes for around 5k. try flopping your build to another specific boss

I got bored and tried this build again, but I didn't really use yours. I accidently went in HM and it honestly went great :\. I'd suggest trying that once you get good at the normal farming of Scar Eater. All I took was prot spirit, sliver, hb and spellbreaker (not really required, but i throw it on right when i start fighting him so i can set everything up) and he drops in under 10 seconds
