Buying Blue Scrolls From Merchants & Rare Scroll Trader Pricing

I've been working on my Survivor title the past couple of weeks and as such, have been buying up blue XP scrolls to help out. I noticed that some town merchants sell blue XP scrolls (example: Yohlon Haven) and others don't. I noticed that the merchant in my guild's hall doesn't sell blue XP scrolls anymore. (I'm pretty sure he did before.) The Rare Scroll Trader in my hall is now selling blue XP scrolls, but ONLY 1 of the 3 possible: Adventurer's Insight. What is up with this? I don't know when it got changed, but I seem to remember the Rare Scroll Trader only selling 'Rare' (ie. gold) scrolls and the merchants in all of the towns selling blue scrolls. Not that way now. If the intent is on having the Rare Scroll Trader sell the blue scrolls from now on, at least let him sell all of the blue ones instead of just Adventurer's Insight. It just seems all over the place at the moment.


I also hate how the Rare Scroll Trader window tells you that a gold scroll is 180g / 200g / 350g / etc. but when you 'request quote' it's always 800g to buy, minimum. Why even bother listing less than the minimum pricing in the window if you can NEVER buy for that low of a price?

Sounds like the scroll guys is bugged, or it's just not updating prices correctly. Maybe get a few screens and let Anet know. As for the lack of scrolls, that's kinda odd. There should just be 1 NPC with every scroll, and in an easy place to remember/zone to.

if the trader only have adventurer, maybe he just ran out of the other ones. traders only sells what people sold to them before you know.

just farm fastfoot for a while, he drops all sorts of scrolls.

I find it quite random how some merchant's still have blue scrolls, others don't :S

It's not present at merchant's from LA, Droks, Denravi, Kamadan, Guild Hall etc

Yet can be found in HzH, Amnoon, Kaineng and smaller Factions towns. Very random O_o

It is kinda random....

.... But why fuss about it?
Just find a town that does sell them and buy them from there... or get a Boss-Farming character to kill bosses and give the XP scrolls over to your Survivor character. It might be odd but it certainly isn't a major problem.

I'm sure the fact that I just merch any I get probably doesn't help.
