I'm not sure if anyone has suggested this before, if they have then sorry.
I was just wondering why not allow PvE players to add their other PvE characters into a party in the same way as they do heros. The AI would be the same as for heros and hench so they wouldn't be all conquering.
What it would do though is reward people who have spent time and effort working on multiple characters and would mean you don't have to spend your whole life equipping heros if you have a decent character who has already played through the same areas.
Things to consider would be experience for the included characters, exploration and survivor titles and whether or not the character to be included has yet reached the area in which you are playing.
The only possible drawback would be if people prefer to have their other characters in the party in place of forming PuGs but that's the same issue as heros anyway.
I was originally thinking about this for PvE only but I can't see any drawback for hero battles etc.

Im sure most of us that have more then 3 pve characters at the account would like that. Because its kind of impossible to beat the game with 5 characters and still like guild wars hahaha
Not only that, you could "customize" your heroes, with armors and etc. Not to mention the variety of classes, you only have 1 assassin, one mesmer, one ritualist, one dervish, one paragon.
Im sure most of us would like to play with a warrior and 3 more warriors as heroes, or 3 paragons... you got the idea.
And there are heroes people dont like to use because they dont match with their caracteristc.
No offense, but i dont like to use Norgu as a hero because he is an insult for us mesmers. He is fat and ugly and has no sense of style.
Melonni... she doesnt look like a very powerful dervish, i would really like to play along with the dervish henchman (with his skin), now HE looks cool.
Zed is also hideous... jesus...
Well, you got the idea... variety and quantity

Remember, the heroes use their builds from left to right. So if you put an important spell or skill that they need to use more than others on the right rather than left then your setting them up for failure.
