Do You Feel Lucky?

And to think there couldn't be a more pointless event than Double Skill Capping?
I'd be fine with double Lucky points...except that each rank requires atleast 50 thousand freaking points...you need 50000 points just to get to Rank 1!
That's 100 Lockpick saves. For a person with low lockpicking, that's 1000 chests just to get the minimal benefit. I don't think it's possible to open that many chests in a weekend.
If ArenaNet really wanted to do a good weekend, double the lockpick retention rate!

just a comment...
It feels like these Lucky point benefit items are are on the low side with the max tier of Lucky being 2,500,000 (as far as we know).
Four-leaf Clovers... 4 points IF you get the 15% dp removal. 4 points? Those aren't available as drops anymore and I imagine most people are saving the ones they have left for their own use in HM. A real 'lucky prize' may be something like 1,000 points if you hit the 15% and scaled down for any other percent.
Lockpicks... 250 points IF it doesn't break (500 this weekend?). Leaving out the fact that mine break on first use almost every time, it seems like it should be... how about 250 just for using and 1,000 if retained.
Rings games are only available every so often and I guess they're mainly a gold sink. The Nine Rings 'big winner' per round could use buffs over 25, 40 and 55 though.
just suggestions

Besides your Anet bash, This weekend is still usefull as well. I mean if your going for the title, might as well do it this weekend, work on THREE titles at the same time.

Hyperbole aside, do you seriously think that people will think "OMG, thank you ArenaNet, I've always wanted to spend an entire weekend (plus several million gold) to get titles which have no effect other than to allow you to spend not as many milllions of gold?!

Hey guys. Have anyone tried using lockpicks on lower end chest in normal mode? According to Guildwiki, those chests has inherent higher probability to keep lockpick intact. If it's true, maybe I'll be lockpicking all those Istani chest...maybe worthwhile. And this weekend may not be so dumb after all.
