Account Merging

Don't know if this has been suggested already, but I want to put it out there.

I will be more than happy to pay for a chance to merge accounts or at least transfer chars.

Many of us had to get second accounts in order to play all the professions before the $10 a slot came out.

It would be a great benefit for us if we could do this, or we could choose not to if we wanted more than one account.

This should be in Sardalec.

That said, I would love to merge my accounts.

As much as I would love to deactivate an account and merge it with my other (had a spare mule account for Factions and would love to merge it to my b-i-l's Prophecies/Nightfall account. Had I thought ahead I would have given him the key to begin with....) I understand why they can't/won't. With account thefts out there you can't easily prove that the one getting merged is yours. It would be a nightmare if a bunch of stolen accounts got merged all over.

The theft portion could be discouraged by requesting that you reenter the access key for the account you are trying to merge with your main account.

Although it will never happen i would really love this it really sucks have 3 of my characters on a second account (they were made way back in the days when we only had 4 slots and there was no way of getting more) Anet should have an application area for merging where they will do it for u (so people cant merge more than 2 accounts) it would also help solve it when people accidentally create a second account while meaning to add the code onto there current account.

They have stated thay they will never do this...

Althought I'd love if they let you add an account of a capaing that you already have to gain 2 more slots.

Not everyone can buy them in the shop.
