Sunspear vs Linghbringer

Wat is the difference between this?
This is like factions(luxons,kurzicks) that we have to choose on side?
ANd why when we get casttelan sunspear we cant get points from scout guys?
And when we try to get points from scout guys for lighbringe rpoints we say that we cant?
Plz help me with this,bcz i cant understand the differences

Couple o'things.

First: Once you reach Castellan, you have to be in hard mode to get more sunspear bounties.

As for the differences, the only (at the moment) thing that Sunspear points gives you is a better bonus when using the SS Rebirth sig. The Lightbringer title is much more worthwhile- for each level, you get a 5% boost in damage against demons and -1 point reduction against damage from demons. At higher levels, that really adds up.

Not different sides. Just that lightbringer is what you use later in nightfall to fight demons. Sunspears use their points more in the beginning.

Sunspear ranks indicate your position in the army of the Sunspears. Lightbringer ranks indicate your blessing level (from the gods) granted for killing the minions of Abaddon.

You can find scouts for Ligthbringer points near areas where you find lots of elementals(djinns), margonites and torment creatures. You will find more and more as you get further in the game.

The ones for lb pts are generally called "priests". Play through the game, read what it's saying, and you'll have a better idea of lb vs ss. No point trying to perfectly understand everything before you set foot in elona.
