Computer is on its last leg.

I have an old computer that I think is on its last leg. I've been playing GW for over 1 1/2 years now and have Prophecies and Factions. My question is if this computer breaks down for good then it may be a while before I have money for a new computer so is there a specific amount of time that a player hasn't logged onto the game that it's considered a dormant account and gets banned/cancelled? If so then what steps would I need to take to maintain my account?

My other question is looking ahead toward a new computer then does someone know yet what the required/recommended system specs will be for the GW2 that will come out next year or so? I want to get a computer that will be able to play new games for the next few years (with minimal upgrades of course).

Your account will stay forever. If you are the guild leader of a guild and isn't active, the leadership will be transferred to an officer. If you're a member of a guild and not active, you may be kicked by the guild.

101% speculation but this is mid-range now so by the time GW2 is released the spec will be in bargain basement PC's..so there is no reason anybody shouldn't be running this spec by then.
