I gave Koss the elite stance 'Gladiator's Defense', but he never uses it. I can activate it manually.
Is there a way to get him to use it automatically?
Koss will not automatically use 'Gladiator's Defense"

Yes, many times heros and henchmen don't use skills the ways they were intended, or use them at the wrong times. There is a thread all about this in PvE Skill Discussions.
The only way to insure he uses it is to either block off all the other skills on his bar, or to manually do it yourself.
