Alliance Trade Channel

I'm not sure about many of the alliances out there, but for all those I've been in, any trade or price checking is prohibited on the Alliance chat channel. Wouldn't it be nice to have a separate channel for Alliance Trade? You can instantly send what you need to sell/buy/price check to a possible 999 other people, making the trade situation much easier for many people. Like all others, the channel can be turned off. That way those that don't want to see a constant trade stream of messages can turn the channel off when not needed and members can still trade! I know it would help me so much

Have a less strict alliance? Mine lets you try to sell something in the chat, but only once and if nobody is interested you have to shut up (ie no spamming like in LA or KC but if you want to ask "anybody want a zodiac sword with a discount?" nicely it can be allowed).

Or, ask your alliance leader to set up a sell/buy/price check forum in your alliance's forum.

My alliance (while hardly anyone is one most of the time) has no problem with the occasional "Anyone want to buy a sword?" popping up in Alliance Chat, as long as you don't spam it (I don't think anyone likes spamming). Really, what else is alliance chat good for, either than the occasional "Who wants to help out?"

Well...our alliance owns Cavalon, so there's alot of talk going on. There has to be strict rules in place otherwise the majority of people would want to turn alliance chat off.

I agree with HawkofStorms on this one. Strict Alliance rules isn't a good enough reason to implement a new chat when trading works fine in less strict alliances. Imo.
