Well, I'm not happy to say the least. I've recently got Factions and I went through all the second profession quests with my Ritualist and I standing there next to Master Togo and he asks what I want my 2nd profession to be. I accidentally clicked Assasin and I looked up where in the game I would be able to change it and it said in Senji's Corner in Kanieng City. I know that's probably a ways further into the game, but can someone tell me if it's like 50%, 60%, 70%...etc through the PvE game? I'm still new to Ritualist and Assasins, but I can't imagine an Assasin complementing a Ritualist all that well. It just makes me upset that I'm going to have to play X amount of the rest of the game with a 2nd profession I didn't really want.
I guess no use in whining over it since what's done is done so I guess I'll try make due with it.

once you leave the island, you only have to do two missions and a few quests in the middle till you can change professions.

Yeah, it's not too far onto the mainland. If you haven't done the missions on Shing Jea Island, you've got a few days of work still: 2 missions (Minister Cho's and Zen Daijun), and a number of quests. Most important quest might be the one after Zen Daijun: go ring the bell at the harbor in the south-east corner...and get the 15-point quest.
Then, it's quests, Vizunah Square, Quests, Nahpui Quarter, and you can change your 2nd. It's about 1/2 way through the PVE game
