Extend Enchantments

Does anyone use it? Because right off the top of my head, I can think of a couple of half-decent builds that revolve around it, but it doesn't seem like anyone else likes it. Apart from the enchant strip at the end, it seems like it could be really useful.

It sees play with [skill]Sight Beyond Sight[/skill]. It's decent but very specialised.

I really like this skill though I don't use it that much either. I used it with vow of strength before it got its duration doubled but I still use it occasionally. These are some of the better synergies imo.
-sight beyond sight as mentioned, the most popular pvp use
-featherfoot grace (also harrier's grasp). Very little wind prayers investment needed for almost complete coverage. The underated Lyssa's Haste similarly.
-Burning speed, especially in a AoM build. Chuck 6 leftover points in this to get a speed boost second only to dash with a net cost of 6 energy and a 1/4 sec cast time.
-shadow form, maintain about 23/30 seconds at just 6 shadow arts with deadly paradox. Can be quite interesting combined with skills like vital boon and Balthazar's Rage in particular which will leave you on a few hundred health when SF ends.

I've tried it on a couple of builds, but its kinda "meh".
Works ok with protections spells like Aegis, shielding hands, shield of ab. etc.
Another idea is OoV or OoP. Never got it to make too much of a difference though, and the drawback's a bitch.

There's no drawback in a right build.
I dont use Extend in any of my builds, i use it in only one build someone else made, and which i sometimes play.

I always use extend enchantments when I go /mo on my dervish. With very little investment into protection prayers, it lets me get very long duration protective spirit, guardian, and mirage cloak (I think thats the one I mean, the 50% block enchantment). Its also great for shadowform dervishes and running .
EDIT: Clarifying a statement.

It's actually worse with OoV/OoP generally speaking as if they're being chained for the benefit of people without extend enchantments as well you typically won't get the energy from them ending. If the only physical on your team are using extend enchantments on the other hand it could be ok, though most orders tend not to be playing a midline role anyway.

Personally, theres a permanent sliver tanking build that I have just started using, and it works pretty well. Of course, I can't solo with it. I think it should be made so that if you renew it, the enchantments stay on. But then they need the recharge to be around 25 seconds too.
