Please, I am by no means knocking this arena. I think this is one of the last "good" formats for pvp in the game. But I think you would agree it is a little stale.
So here is my suggestion:
Load all the Hero battle maps into Team Arena and give the same victory Conditions. This would make an exact duplicate of HvH except it would be 4 Humans vs. 4 Humans. And why not Give it a ladder!
