Im talking about Prophecies.
Things will never go back to this hallmark of pvp, but mabey they could just for a little.
A.Net Could we have a Heritage pvp Weekend Event?
Prophecies Only Skills, Classes, etc. for a whole weekend. People that do not own this campaign could have access to the skills just for the weekend.
That means all forms of pvp (with or without GvG) Go back to the original and core. I think this would be a lot of fun

Sorry but you're crazy if you think sins, rits, paragons and dervs weren't imbalanced. A lot of stuff is still balanced pretty poorly to this day. Things like spirits stacking and the exhaustion bug aside, at least back in 2005 the pvp in this game was actually about skill.

How about using the AT system to make tournaments with different play formats - for example different sets of skills available, like Prophecies+Core skills/professions only.
This wouldnt even be a really new thing to GW as we already had the official Wintersday season finals done in a Nightfall+Core skills only format.

Yes great idea. Although we would be sacraficing variety for balance I think most players/ guilds that gain their rank from skill (Balance builds) not FOTM (Imba crap) would play in this format. Anet give us Prophecies+Core only GvG/HA option. Others can use the cureent system if they dont like it. The pvp community will have Imba vs. Imba and Balance vs. Balance.

going back will be good, as long as it's not too far at the past(i mean spirit spam, chain lightning spike(although it was awesome)), but goin back to old rspike days with double orders and no delay after savage shot oh those sweet days
lets face it, factions+nf maybe are a fresh "begining" if you can call it that way, but the old only-prophecies days are the best, and nothing can replace them.
it'll be even better if they'll restore the old tombs outpost instead of that useless pve area.
