This game has many of the same aspects of medevil warfare
Soldiers/footman = warriors, Dervish
Archers = rangers
Monks = Suport
Spearmen/leaders = Paragon
Siege Weaponry = Elementalist
etc
We dont have mounted units

Knights would have inherent +25% speed buff, take +15% damage from spears, but do +15% Damage to melee units. I dont know this is probably a bad idea but thats the basic thought I had anyway.

the terrain is wrong for mounts and the maps just aren't large enough.
it also poses the problem of the mounts being like rangers pets, AKA a pain if done wrong and the bane of (at least the ones i know) healers.

way overpowered, there arent enough paragons in PVP or PVe to do that, basicly there would be lots of bonuses and no disadvantages in Tyria or CAntha b/c of no paragons
