loot scaling for the whole account???

hi there everybody.

i'm just curious if someone else made the same experience.

a week ago i noticed a significant decrease in rare drops on my necromancer, so i switched to monk. i had more golden drops in hard mode but just for 2 days. after that only white and blue drops. so i went on to dervish and after 20 runs outside astralarium not a single golden drop although my dervish didn't farm anywhere before. not once.

so is it possible that loot scaling affects the whole account??

what do you guys think?

Loot scaling is based on how many teammates you've got in your team.

It's not about 'how many golds you get' and how many whites. Gold weapons are not included in loot scaling so it doesn't affect them.

I think you're talking about the anti farm code.. Yes the on A-net claims to have removed, while nothing really changed.. It affects your entire account, and the main theory is that to return loot to "normal" you have to do missions etc..

Heh, try doing the same farming run 5 times, then a mission, then the farming run again. Whatever Anet put in to dull the rampant solo farming it seems to respond to missions just like the late great anti-farming code. In any case repeated zoning may not have any effect, but something else may be effecting not drop rate but drop quality. I'm pretty certain also.

golds are like rare items, sometimes you will be luckier then other times
