The lore buildup for Gwen sounds well written, I am very happy they aren't forgetting the whole civil war in Kryta aspect, since that was very underplayed in the actual game. But the Mursaat must be lurking behind the White Mantle somewhere...

that picture of the tyria land on its own reminds me of an area in pre searing, a specific area.
I think i heard a while ago you have some sorta faction/title things to do with the races. The whole thing about norns and the different animals sounds really interesting. i hope theres like territories/havens you can buy/unlock (abit like faction controlled places). They could also be different like animal factions

The asura actually look cute in their fancy clothing. And who knew they had a Stargate! Oh now it all makes sense!
The sin armor looks cool, but probably a NPC or hero since the face/hairstyle is nothing from Factions.
I am really looking forward to the new armors, so I hope they put a lot of work into them!

I wish there was more about the lionguard(rather then shining blade) since they were the ones under control before the white mantle.
The pictures look pretty great(I wonder if the prophecies charr will get a reskin as the eotn one(the one with wand and shield looks alot different then the current ones(firecallers).

Awesome. This is the kind of info many of us lore fans have been waiting for. Some commentary:
Is it just me or is that close-up picture of a Charr quite different from what we've seen before? The white fur is very noticeable, as is his (or her?) catlike face, he reminds me of both a lion/tiger and a fox at the same time Maybe it's just that I've never looked at one that closely before...
While the Asuras are cute, they don't particularly impress me, and I think ANet will have a lot of work to do to give them as much potential for character individuality and customisation (being a playable race) as humans/other races in GW2.
The concept art showing a boat being paddled along in some underground river intrigues me. The creature with the stick standing at the water's edge - is that some kind of undead pirate? Very spooky.
The Norn with the helmet and chains reminds me of the Stone Summit
Probably have nothing to do with each other though. The information given definitely suggests they have resemblances to Norse culture, maybe some Celtic too?
I must say I love the ideas of a civil war in Kryta and the Charr's religious conflict.

LAWL@ the Asura's and the Stargate. Anyone notice that the Asura in the middle (who looks like the minipet we have now) is unique? Maybe he's a hero or a special NPC.
