I did a search on this and couldn't find anything so here goes . . . .

I have a very large friends list and have been playing for 2 years now. I have people on that list that I'm pretty sure haven't played in a long time. However, can't be sure of who because I swear I have about 4 friends on there that all have names that start with Jade something or other for example. It would be nice if the same feature the guild roster has about when the player last logged in could be added to the Friends list and the Ignore list for that matter.

Could be useful for trimming my friends list.

Sounds good.

I think I made a thread for this exact same thing awhile back, it did well, too.

It already exists in the guild list, so the tracking is there. So I don't see any harm in this, but it would be useful to know if someone has left GW.

If you don't see a certain person online for a long time or just someone that you never talk to anymore, just remove them from your friends list. Is it so hard to open your friends list and decide who needs to be removed?

Yes, for me it is. I've been playing two years, my friends list is huge. I trim it down here and there but like I said. I have about 5 people on there that all have an IGN that starts with Jade blah blah blah or Death blah blah blah. Honestly, if they aren't in the guild, I can't keep track of who's who all the time because we have so many IGN's. Yes, I supposed I could readd them with a different user name but I would rather spend my game time playing.

Chalk it up to bad memory, too many friends, or whatever, I just thought it would be nice to have so I would have a way to trim the people that haven't logged in for 3 months or longer.

/signed. no reason for this not to be implemented (unless they have to code a lot of things into the system) since the guild roster uses the same thing.

Great idea, it would let people figure out when players on the friends list usually sign on if they aren't playing on the same schedule as you are. For instance, if I'm playing on tuesday at 10 and I see my friend last logged on 22 hours ago, I'm gonna try and sign on next monday around 7 or 8 because maybe they'll be on again at that time and we can chat or kill stuff together. Since there's no way to send someone a message while they are offline, knowing when they last played would be better than nothing when trying to find them.

It would also help to see that someone on the friend's list hasn't signed on in 2 months so that you know that you aren't just playing on different days than they are and the odds are real good that they aren't coming back. Probably don't want to be saving items you found for someone who doesn't use their account anymore, lets people give those items to someone else or sell them and free up their storage.
