NPC Weapons Mod Merchant

In the future is there a chance that there would ever be a NPC for the buying and selling of weapon mods? They could work on the same way that a Dye trader or rune trader would work.

What would be the point? weapons mods are extremely common compared to what they were back in 2005. If it isn't a max/desired mod just cut your losses and merch/sling on a hero.

I dunno, I think it'd be a good addition to the game. I've been after a zealous string for my Assassin's bow with no avail. It'd be so much easier to just pop into town and lay down some gold for one.

@OP - there are too many variations for a merchant to handle
@Azagoth - the net gain in energy with a zealous bow string is ridiculously small. I think it's less than .20 per second for a short bow.

Imperfect mods are already undesirable/unsellable for the most part. Putting mods on merchants would make crappy drops even crappier. I'm gonna cast my vote in the 'fat chance' column.

Ok,keep the weapons mods where they are,just change the way the pricing is for the mods so a +30 mod can be competitive when selling or buying. I feel the price flux. would help new players from being scamed all they have to do is use the tool, the NPC being the tool.

I don't think ANet is ever going to get involved in player-to-player pricing. That's asking for headaches.

I think this would be great and help alot of players, however it has been suggested many times in the past and we still don't have one. So, my guess is we never will, but we can always hope.

I have an extra zealous bow string that you can have. I added you to my friends list and saw you were on but, no reply so the next time I see you on I will try to catch you and get you the string.

Yeah, it's for my Critical Barrager. At the moment she's 'borrowing' my Ranger's Chkkr's Flatbow but I have a very nice +5E Celestial Longbow for the zealous string to go on.
kratimas, that would be much appreciated. Sorry I wasn't on earlier, if you tried when I think you must've tried I'd have been on with me Ele, Selene Spitfire. I left her standing in The Gate of Pain whilst I nipped around a mate's house and 15 minutes turned into and hour and half.
