Question about post-searing Ascalon

I'm a level 8 R/Me and I did all the quest but across the wall. I looked for an ally but they said I was too low level. I can't find any mobs that are level 4+ to give enough exp to continue leveling. Any suggestions to help a noob out?

Try to find people that are around your level. Are you sure you're not talking about pre-searing? Most of the people who said you're too level are long-time players who have farmed their way to level 10-20. You won't find many strong enemies in pre-searing, but in post-searing it should be easy to find level 4+ enemies if you keep exploring.

If you're talking about pre searing ascalon, which I suspect you are, there are plenty lvl 3 foes around and, although progress is VERY slow (16XP per kill) you can get to lvl 9 by killing them without needing to go across the wall.
