Hey, thanks for looking, i have recenty receieved a BT home hub wirless modem thingy from my mate who did not need it anymore as he has a new one, i was told because i have 2 computors in my house i could conect to the internet wirelessly, but i have had a few problems:

First of all i want to know if the home hub can work on my computor becauase i am on a talktalk land and broadbandline, when i plug the modem in it doesnt show the "internet" light, which the installation guide says it must be on before i continue:

Another thing i wanted to ask is if i do get it working or get another modem working, how do i find it on my other computor thats not my main one, do i need an additional device?

Also do i need to have the ethernet wire in or the usb one for wireles connections.

Thanks in advance for all that help.

Is SSID broadcasting enabled on the BT home hub, so your wireless adapter can find it when your computer boots up? Also, how exactly do you have the wireless hub connected to the internet? Is it connected up to a DSL/Cable modem through the WAN port?
