I'm just wandering what is chest running?
I've seen running builds for it and i'm just wandering if its when you buy a key and then just run to a chest and open it? Is that all it is?

Basically yes. Chest runners offer to run your keys for you. Lets say you buy 10 Obsidian keys for the FOW area, but you aren't skilled enough to survive in this area on your own and you really just want the chest goodies and you want them quickly.
So you hire a chest runner. Give him your keys. He'll run to the chests in the chosen area and give the chest contents to you un-id'ed.
Most chest runners advertising their services on this site are honest, but you do have to watch out for scammers. A scammer can take your keys and run or they can keep the 100k gold item they got from your key and instead give you a crappy Req 13 un-id'ed purple item. Unless you go with the runner you have no way of knowing what actually came from the chest. For this reason, only use runners that you trust or that have a good reputation on guru with good customer references.
