losing aggro

ok, so i'm a noob warrior. only level 12 so far. prophecies only.

this is my current build:
[skill]sever artery[/skill][skill]gash[/skill][skill]power attack[/skill][skill]frenzy[/skill][skill]sprint[/skill][skill]healing signet[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill][skill]conjure flame[/skill]
i maxed swords, then fire, then strength, then put the last point in tactics.

i'll probably replace sprint with rush, and i'm not liking healing signet at 1 tactics.

now to my question: how can i lose aggro so i can frenzy and smash face more often?
are there any low cost skills to break aggro that i could use instead of healing signet?

The only skills that break aggro are AOE spells which can cause mobs to scatter. As a warrior that isn't much of an option for you. GW isn't like some other online games like Everquest or WoW where aggro is an actual measurable item that you can control. GW monsters have AI that tell them who to target and when.

The best you might do is get a skill like Bonetti's Defence, so that you have some protection to cover you when you use healing signet.

i figured that the monk(s) should be healing me while i attack things, rather than me healing me while i don't attack things. i don't want to use the signet if i don't have to.

will backing up break aggro if they have another target?
i'm not trying to lose all aggro. having the thing i'm attacking aggroed is fine, i just don't want 5 things attacking me, because then frenzy is suicide.

The best way to lose agro is to wear higher armor/higher health than the rest of the party. That way you'll be a low priority target for ennemies.
Playing a warrior, losing agro should be no problem.

Knocking them down will give you a bit of leeway for that sort of thing.

Running away (Movement Increase skills) will definitely break aggro, though perhaps not in the way you imagine.

Then again... maybe what you need are more targets for the enemy so you don't have to deal with so many yourself. For THAT I would recommend a Minion Master or Minion Bomber...
