Xen of Onslaught [XoO] is a multigaming community composed of thousands of gamers throughout the world. This week is especially significant for us because it marks the anniversary of two important events in our history: 1) Our first game division, Planetside, was formed 4 years ago this week, and 2) our Guild Wars division was formed 2 years ago today.
On May 23, 2005, Moskel was formally assigned by the XoO leadership to head up the Xen of Onslaught, Guild Wars division after a brief internal community search for a leader for this new game. Moskel formed Xen of Onslaught [XoO] as the first of what would later become 10 XoO Guild Wars guilds. Recruiting for the new guild was done both internally from current XoO membership and externally, with several XoO vets taking on officer positions in the new guild. One of the original goals of the new division was to be very active in PvP, with particular emphasis on GvGs. This was later expanded to include HA and PvE.

2005
May 23 Moskel forms the guild and starts helping people through the game2006
June 22 XoO begins GvGing, going 6 and 1 in its first night.
July 5 XoO reaches 60 wins and rank 86 on the ladder, playing “Grab 8 and Go”
July 11 XoO notches 100th win and has 50+ active GvGers in guild
July 28 XoO notches 200th win, beating several top 10-20 teams enroute rank 62
July 31 Xen of Onslaught Ladder (XoOL) is formed.
Aug 16 XoO wins 300th GvG while maintaining top 100 on the ladder
Aug 22 XoO wins Hall of Heroes for the first time
Aug 25 XoO forms 2nd main division, Onslaught of Xen (OoX)
Aug 29 XoO passes 400 GvG wins
Sep 24 XoO passes 500 GvG wins and becomes #1 in total wins on the ladder, ranked 131
Oct 10 10 days into the new ladder season, XoO has 100 wins and is ranked within the top 100.
Oct 20 XoO has 200 wins just 20 days into the season.
Oct 28 XoO is announced as Guild of the Week by ArenaNet
Nov 6 XoO has 300 wins, XoO Ladder is rank 38th on the ladder
Nov 13 XoO has 500th GvG win, OoX has 100th GvG win, and XoOL is rank 45 on the ladder
Nov 17 Xen of Sigils (XoS) is formed as a dedicated Heroes Ascent guild
Dec 2 Xen of Sigils wins HoH twice for the first wins of the new guild
Dec 31 XoO and OoX finish #1 and #2 overall in total wins on the ladder as XoO notches 1000
wins across all guilds for the 3 month ladder season.
Feb 3 XoOL participates in the Guild Wars World Championship Tournament, losing 0 and 2 to [pRp]2007
Feb 17 Xen of Europe (XoE) wins first GvG just one week after forming.
Mar 30 Billiard takes over as leader of XoO
Apr 18 Xen of Sigils takes and holds Halls 5 times
Apr 19 Ladder season starts with XoO ranked in the top 100 and XoOL ranked in the top 10.
Apr 20 XoOL maintains top 10 status with wins over iQ, Te, and nT
Apr 23 2006 Xen of Pacific (XoP), an Aussie/Asian timezone division opens
Apr 23 XoOL goes 10 & 0 with wins over [rich] and [RnS], both ranked in the top 20, and
maintains rank #16 on the ladder
Apr 25 XoOL beats [Rift] to remain in the top 20
Apr 28 XoOL goes 6 and 0 to rise to rank #8 on the ladder
May 4 Alliance of Xen (AX) is added as a hybrid PvE/PvP guild to the alliance
May 7 XoO takes Kurzick capitol, House zu Heltzer. This last off and on for 3 weeks
May 13 Reign of Xen (RoX) is added as a hybrid PvE/PvP guild, filling the alliance at 10
June 15 XoO passes 100 wins for the new ladder season, with quality wins over top 50 teams
such as [die], [FISH], and [SNA]. RoX is top 40, while AX is top 100
June 28 The end of the short ladder season saw all XoO divisions combine for a total of 724
GvGs in 28 days (not counting divisions not on the ladder). This is a combined ~26
GvGs per day. It was not uncommon to have 2-3 teams GvGing at the same time. Both
AX and RoX ladder teams finish in the top 100.
July 24 Eighty, XoO PvP XO, is hired by ArenaNet
July 25 XoO has 6 teams on the ladder, with XoOL and AXL in the top 100, XoO
XoS right at top 200, and OoX and XoE top 300
Aug 22 XoOL and AX finish in the top 100 with a rating over 1300. Late in the season both
teams were ranked as low as the 60s.
Oct 3 XoO given Notable Guild status by ArenaNet
Nov15 Xen of Sigils takes and holds Hall of Heroes 10 times
Dec 23 Xen of Sigils takes and holds Hall of Heroes 10 times
Jan 12 Onslaught of Heroes (OoH) becomes a new HA division------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jan 25 Billiard attends ArenaNet Community Day
Feb 20 XoO and OoX both win in the first round of the Celestial Tournament. Both end up with
winning records and finish in the middle of the 278 team field. RoX is an honorable
mention for Good Sportsmanship.

XoO has approximately 600 active Guild Wars members, 75% of which who log on and play at least once every day.
XoO members enjoy all types of game play and hail from all time zones and countries - any time you log on you are bound to find a PvE or PvP group playing.
XoO has very active GvG divisions, playing in several different timezones. In the past two years XoO teams have played more GvGs than any other guild in the world, notching well over 4000 GvG wins, and including hundreds of players in the process.
XoO’s Heroe's Ascent teams routinely make long fame runs during the week and have won Hall of Heroes over 120 times in the past 8 months alone.
XoO has extremely active and skilled PvE divisions, based around the world, so that guild groups are online 24/7. XoO fielded one of the first teams to successfully complete either Elite Mission in Factions. XoO PvE players are some of the most experienced in the world, with several earning over 14 million experience on a single character.
