You must be referring to the Chronological Release order? Because all the storylines take place during the same period of time...

I agree that the events in Prophecies take place before Factions and Nightfall (if you pay attention to Mhenlo's part of the story) but I could be wrong. Even if I'm wrong, yes, I was thinking of chronology by release. Either way, what does it matter?

Also, I'm pretty sure you have have all three games installed and RAM won't affect you any differently than having any single game installed. GW isn't too demanding to run, really.

How much ram does your new computer have? Being new, I would think at least a half a gig unless you got a really really cheap one.

Another choice you have, if you're running out of ram is to download, install and run this program http://www.download.com/3000-2086-10070530.html in the background.

Since you are coming back on a new computer, you might want to try and download all images from the game, all at once to keep you from taking too long to warp in to places. What I did was to right click on the shortcut for GW, select create shortcut. Then, right click again and select "properties", on the general tab, change the name to something like, gw image loader, or what ever. Next, click on the "shortcut" tab and in the target box, type or paste this; "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image (include the " at the begining) After you're done, double click as usual and it will download everything. Then, when you're ready to play, click on the other gw shortcut. I like to do that every once in a while, just to keep things running smoothly.

Wait its a new pc, which doesnt have guildwars, but you had guildwars before?
If you had it before you should just download the client and log in with the logging info you used before.

He's still going to have to DL all the images unless he copies the dat file off the old computer.
