Hi. Level 20 newbie wanting to upgrade my heroes armour. Any suggestions on the best place to get Ancient Armour Remnants? I am now at "Remains Of Sahlaja" and can't get passed the first Maddened Spirit. Any hints would be great. Thanks.

The droprate on that challenge missions sucks beyond belief. It took me nearly 20-30 Maddened Spirit skills just to get my first Remnant. Then, of course, it took only 2 more kills to get my second.

just FYI: you dont need to "upgrade" hero armors with green stuff from challenge missions - they get perfect innate stats anyway.

so, if you do not want it for better looks but stats, you should check rune traders.

I bought mine during the double hero armor drops weekend, they were kind of cheap then. No way I will waste my time in that insipid challenge mission. I also recently bought my primeval armor remnants since I dont play in DOA.

It is insipid, it is stupid, it is Pacman. But it counts towards the Cartographer title. So if you want to get that title, you need to cover every inch of it, and there are four little sub-areas in there. May as well try to pick up some armour pieces while you are there.

You can also try to buy the hero armor in Kamadan. I bought all I needed for around 5k/piece. (Before the hard mode economy changes)

I aslo played the mission a bit to map all area there, but I got no drop.

You: Pacman
Infestaions: The Little Dots
Greater Infestations: The Blinking Dots that let you Kill the Ghosts(Maddened Spirits)
Maddened Spirits: The Ghosts, eat the Blinking Dots(Greater Infestations) to kill them.
Lost Souls: The Fruit that randomly appears.


So, if you have played Pacman, you can play this Challenge Mission.
