Warrior Ascended Helms & Mastery Atts

This is a relatively simple question, but are all ascended armors all +1 to tactics or strength? I roamed through wiki looking for the answer to this but didn't come across anything.

I was basically trying to think of a way to create a system of armor so that at most I would only need 1 extra set of boots, or whatever else.

I currently have 15k Canthan and 15k Gladiator's for my female warrior. I'm after a way of exchanging at most 5 helms (16 att in str, tac, axe, ham and swo) in order to maximum any build. So, Sup Absorption on the chest, vigor on the arms, and... the rest, I'm not sure. I rarely combine tactics and strength, but I do at times, so tactics on the legs and strength on the feet? But then if I want 16 att in tactics or strength, I'm only going to have 12 att in my weapons. What a pain. I wish I could just throw a switch to alter the natural modifier on my helmet. But, this isn't PvP.

Anyway, I chased a rabbit there. Once again, are the only +1 helmets in the game to axe, hammer and sword all coconut helms?

No, all canthan and nightfall helms are available in any attribute for that profession. Just prophecies stuff is stuck in the dark ages.

I remember hearing that Prophecy armors are going to be retroactively altered to allow inscriptions. Does this mean I could freely change my 15k Ascalonian helm to +1 in Axe, for example? Or would I have to go craft a new one? I'm fairly certain I'll be able to change my existing Prophecy armor to whatever I'd like.

That feature is not currently in the game.

It's unknown whether the changes will be retroactive.

I'd think it's unlikely, since if it were retroactive, the price Radiant Insignias would spike to absurd proportions. I'd bet atleast 10k each.

My bet is they will add new NPCs to exchange your armors for newer versions.

There is certainly precedent for that, but why make more work than they need to, it's only our happiness and gold in the balance

The +1 inherents on helmets are currently the only thing that isn't interchangeable using insignia or runes. Even for PvP you have to select a different helmet to change the +1 modifier and then add an insignia and rune for other bonuses.

I would guess that if any modifications were retroactive, current armors would have to be updated with stats intact, which means +E armor sets would become armor sets with radiant insignia. I would not expect this retroactive upgrade to become available until just before or after the release of GW:EN, however. (Similar to the material storage, which was originally offered only in Cantha until an update shortly before NightFall, if memory serves correctly.) In a similar manner, I'd expect non-Elona drops to be updated to include inscriptions near the release of GW:EN.
