PC on non-inscribable elemental sword

Didn't know these things dropped like this, but I had a non-inscribable fiery elemental sword of deathbane drop while LB/SS farming outside of the remains of salahja a few days ago.

Everyone I have seen on Guru's auctions is inscribable and the rare-elonan weapons thread doesn't make a distinction - is it worth anything? Is it a bug (I read someplace that the ones that drop from the monoliths are *always* like that - which is irritating) ?

Attached is a screen, though apparently cursors do not appear in a screen as I tried to get the little red circle with a slash on it while trying to put a 15>50 inscription on it.

no that's not rare or a bug, it's simply bad luck. Your sword just doesn't have a dmg mod. You'll be lucky to sell it to someone who wants to customize it, otherwise you can give it to a hero or merch it

Thanks, more or less what I figured, Koss has been running around with it. At the least I didn't think it would make it worth more - I sure do not want a sword that is missing a damage mod.

I had hoped it was a bug and could expect it to be fixed, doesn't seem right that any sword can drop in Elona that is non-inscribable, and such a rare skin for it to happen with also. Thought I had finally had my first real rare drop in two years of playing when I saw in nice shiny gold letters "elemental sword", wasn't too happy when I ID'd it and then tried to add the inscription - *sigh*

I guess I'll keep it in storage just in case it *is* a bug and they eventually fix it - I have the room.
