The Rt/A build with Spirit Strength that was posted here a while ago is tons of fun, and so is the /P one(which is probably better in AB)

There aren't many Rit's in GvG these days. In truth the Rit can offer value to GvG but it really revolves around what the team needs. You can't just, 'add a rit' without thinking what that will bring to the team as a whole. So essentially it's more a question of what team build could benefit from having a rit in it.
Remedy rits are quite versatile in their application. There are some interesting things you can do with Communing like Weapon of Quickening, Guided Weapon, even the weirdly niche Xinrae's Weapon. I've seen people use Weapon of Fury on warriors, Warmonger's, Nightmare etc. and assisting in a spike with stuff like Ancestor's Rage.
You'll notice I talk mostly about the weapon spells. This is currently the strongest thing a rit can do. Spirits don't really cut it thanks to all the really good ones having excruciating 5 second creation times and being inherently immobile.
All in all again, it really boils down to your team build. One thing's for sure, a lot of teams don't really run Rits that much anymore, which says more about the situation than anything else...

Rits also see play in NR/Tranq builds, as they're better healers than monks when you can't use enchantment spells. I've occasionally seen people pooping out spirits in GvG, especially bloodsong, but there's really never a character completely dedicated to spamming spirits.
