Well, it pains me to say this, but after a patch download, I try to get in Kamadan with my rit and when it's about to finish loading it shows the typical "Error" box to send to Anet. I shrug it off (had em before) and try it again. I get the same box at the same time. By this time I'm worried. So maybe It's just a temporary prob with Kamadan, so I try my para in Gates Of Desolation. Same box. Finally, I reboot and lo and behold, I have a buttload of files to DL. Big problem (dialup user =P). I look into the program file of it to check it's size, and it's reduced to 2.4GB!
Can someone possibly give me even a hint to why this happened?

right, none, and I mean NONE of your character info is held on your computer except templates and screenshots...
if they have reduced the .dat file, then thats only a good thing (it needed to do on a weight watchers plan)
