Skin Unlock for PvE (a la AT Reward Style)
darkknightkain
Exact same idea as the PvP Automated Tournment Reward Points Unlock, there should also be a PvE counterpart.
For example have a Quartermaster that takes X amount of stuffs like Imperial Recommendations, Equipment Requsition, Kourmn Coins, Trade Contacts, etc. etc. and perform the exact same function as those Tournment Reward Points Unlocks.
Ie. change the weaponsmith/collector "Winged Axe" to say a "Cleaver Axe" for example.
Of course, just like the PvP AT Rewards counterpart, anything though this will be made into pre-customized, non-transferrable, non-salvagable, and non-tradeable.

Even being customized and what not, it would impact the economy.

Congratz there was same topic made about this only 5 hours before you
Sith how would this affect the economy? Do PvP players buy weapons from PvE'ers to use??? i'm not PvP so i don't know

No. A pve character still has access to everything. No need for this.
Mr. G
effects the economy..cuase if peopel can get the skins they want...who will buy?

The only way to make this really work is if they got rid of gold entirely and replaced it with a PvE Faction as well as Point system. It would also be customized for that char.

.... For all complaints about the economy: Lawlz.
If a player can't get by without having to buy or sell stuff to / from another player.... then there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the system.
While I don't actually approve of this idea at all, I couldn't care less if a nerf comes tomorrow stopping anyone from ever trading any weapon again!

Technically the tournament reward points can be used like this already. The items are likely usable in PvE.
I think we should be able to craft armor/weapons by using Balth faction. Works for any unlocked skin. Or at the very least, armor. Runes/inscriptions purchased separately. This would bring PvE a little closer to PvP. Maybe.

Is it just me, or is this system already in place, where you can buy armor in pve?
Oh yes, that's right, it's called gold. You buy things with gold and platinum. Seriously, stop whining, pvp got some shiny things instead of a skill balance, go cry in a corner.

I actually had a similar idea recently, where you can change the skin on a single weapon of your choice when you beat GWEN. Obviously it'd be a one-time thing (like Amulets of the Mists and Books of Secrets), which would counter most of the complaints in this thread.
All PvP items (including those created through ATS rewards) are customized. There is a way to transfer them to another character using heroes, but I don't think you can transfer them to PvE characters by doing that.

1st.The pvp weapons were implemented to give pvp-only people some new skins, so it's already a counterpart of pve thus pve doesn't need this. 2nd. If this is to be implemented, it has to be a skin only obtainable through these means and should not resemble any existing skin. 1 new skin for each kind of weapon.
