I found this build on accident actually, reading today's update notes about the IDS no longer being affected by scaling made me want to get one, So I loaded up on henchmen and heros and fought to the cave. once there, The heros and henchmen were killed, but I found my build to work extremely well solo. And my first run did benefit from it.
The Atts + Skills:
Equipment:
Full windwalker armor, a vigor(i just use a minor), and I used one rune of restoration for the fight up there.
Weapon: I use a 15^50 20/20 hp+23 scythe, though you may want one of enchanting instead of fortitude.
Also, PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NORMAL MODE
Simply fight your way to the cave, and send your henchmen and heros out of range. Put on faithful intervention if you dont have it on already, followed by regeneration, mystic vigor, and heart of fury. target the nearest imp, and put on vow of silence right before you get to it. move around a bit, ideally you should have 2-3 imps grouped together for maximum health gain from vigor.
Your casting order dosent matter after this, I was rarely interrupted by maelstom, just keep regen and vigor up at all times, vow will reduce damage taken a lot. You may want to sub out zealous renewal if you want to try to run up to the cave solo.
