Have I done sommet wrong?

Hi,
I'm currently playing the factions 14-day trial and am really enjoying it. However, I think I might have done it the wrong way, I'm currently lvl 9 and am a ranger but at level 9 I have done all the quests round the island and now just killing creatures is giving me little experience at all.
What I think I have done wrong is during doing quests I would have at least one of my heroes and sometimes a henchman. Is this how most people do it or is it more soloing or grouping with 1 other player.
This is really annoying as it's taking ages to get to level 10.

It is best to fill up your entire party with players, henchman, or heroes. If you're only level 9, you definitely have not done every quest on the island. It is possible to get to level 20 there fairly easily. And don't kill monsters for experience, quests are much faster.

No you haven't, because if you had you'd be around the Level 16 mark! Take a wander around the island and outposts looking for people with green marks above their heads.

Oh, and be sure to talk to the scouts near the rez shrines to get bounties! It will give you double XP and Sunspear points that you will need to advance at certian points in the game. By getting the bounties while doing quests will save you some grind to reach the required sunspear levels you'll need.

I'm confused here. Are you playing Factions or Nightfall? You say you are playing Factions, but you say you have heroes, which are a Nightfall only thing.

Either way, if you're playing Factions, you should be about level 16 as you leave for mainland Cantha. If you're playing Nightfall, get bounties from the resurrection shrines, so you get sunspear points and double XP.
