Would this build work?
Dagger Mastery: 11+3+1
Critical Strikes: 11+2
Shadow Arts: 8+1
1. Flashing Blades [e]
2. Jagged Strike
3. Wild Strike
4. Death Blossom
5. Way of the Lotus
6. Shadow Refuge
7. Critical Eye
8. Rebirth
The weapons I'm wielding are the end-game Ceremonial Daggers.
Attacks 2-4 are a staple chain that I don't think you can go wrong with. Way of the Lotus is for a quick energy boost. With Critical eye I'll be hitting criticals like 25% of the time. Rebirth is a staple Hard rez. I feel that Way of the Lotus may be a bit superfluous with the Zealous Daggers, Critical eye, and the high critical strikes attributes.
I'm just wondering whether I could run this build without getting laughed at, and no, I'm not the first to rush in
Also, are there any Sin skills that protect against elemental attacks?
Thanks.

It'll work.
Only Shadow Form protects from elemental attacks. Shroud of silence too I guess.

you could put in Critical Strike and remove way of the Lotus, and even Critical eye, as this attack would do the work of both of those skills, opening up 2 spaces to throw something else in like Dash, or something. Also trying Critiacl Defenses and changing to Mes adding Elemental protection stance and trying a different elite. Something to think about anyway.

i think its a great build tbh. i used the same thing all through Cantha minus the Way of the Lotus and Crit Eye. i took Plague touch of mending touch, and dark escape for the exploders if it was looking bleak. gj though man ^_^

Flashing blades is a great elite. I've been using it a lot on my assassin to great effect. The build I've been using is something like this:
15 Dagger Mastery
13 Critical Strikes
7 Shadow Arts
Unsuspecting Strike
Wild Strike
Critical Strike (I'll switch it for Death Blossom sometimes)
Shadow Refuge
Dash
Critical Eye
Flashing Blades
Purge Conditions
This is my basic build for soloing with henchman. I like Unsuspecting Strike, Wild Strike and Critical Strike because they have low recharges and can be spammed easily. I hardly ever run out of energy, and can spam it over and over. Sometimes I'll switch for Death Blossom, but I just love it with Critical Strike. Shadow Refuge is the self heal, dash for faster exits if necessary, and Critical Eye for higher damage and better energy management.
I love Flashing Blades for when I'm running with henchman, because I find it a bit tricky to play the whole quick movement style assassin with henchman, and so flashing blades allows me to be an adequate tank. I've used this build to great effect with henchman for most of the Factions missions, including the last few.
