I just got this off an enemy - http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Glowing_Heart

I don't know what it is though and whether it's worth keeping. I can salvage it but I'm not sure whether to yet.

No offence as thats the Offical Wiki for GW but it sucks compared to the gamewikis one

It's a normal collectable loot. You can change it for items at collectors.
