...anywhere you can farm scythes and rip mods out of them =p. So basically, Nightfall.

Try dasha vestibule... I get quite a lot of gold scythes there

I've farmed a lot of ridgeback skales on Plains of Jarin. Haven't actually gotten a lot in the way of scythe drops, however.
