ATS Match Point System needs fixing

forfeit wins should only give 3.0 instead of 3.5

it's kind of ridiculous. not playing anyone at all gets you more point than playing a bad team? it doesn't make sense. It doesn't even calculate the point based on the w/l/d ratio of the losing team. It's especially detramental because the AT's are short and there's only 3-6 matches. getting a forfeit win the first round gives you a severe advantage over all the other teams. I'm not sure that makes sense.


additionally, during the 5 minute wait, when you click join, it should load you into the match map and wait there for the rest of the countdown, we had a monk who was there the whole time, but got err7 4 sec before the match started, she couldn't rejoin in time and we barely had time to reclick "join" at 0:01sec before time with 7 people. UCS had a similar problem during the monthly tournament but couldn't reclick "join" in time

So how much longer is SNA going to be abusing the AT's system anyways, I find this post ironic as hell.

It should be left at 3.5 if i'm ment to fight someone and they forfeit there is nothing I can do why should I be punished by not getting a score i could? It is also normaly the low rank players which would get rolled anyways who forfeit.

actually, the way the AT matching system is made the first match is random pairing and every match from there on is paired with teams that are ranked adjacent to you in the tournament (1vs2 3vs4 5vs6) even if you beat a really good team in the first round, you'll only get 3.0 points, while if you get a forfeit in the first round you'll get 3.5 giving a random team a 0.5 point edge.
and if a low ranked team's going to forfeit anyway (which would have gotten you 3.0 pts if you did win against them in a match) , then why should you get the extra 0.5 points for defeating a good team which you weren't going to get if you actually played the match?
