Just a thought i've had for awhile now

Okay probably going to get flamed for this or bashed or something don't know or care. I also don't post much but do read everything everyday.

But anyway here is what i wanted to get to..

It would be nice to be able to make any Class in any Chapter as long as you have ALL 3 Chapters to your account. I have started a Assassin, Ritualist, Dervish, & Paragon. but i don't like Pre for Factions & Nightfall. You got your base skills for them when you make the Char. anyway and then have to buy all the skills you want, which is perfectly fine for me to buy the skills even in Proph. once you cross, I'd be more ap to make a 1 of the 4 Classes if i could start it in Proph.

Figure since GW 1 is coming to a close in next year and a 1/2 wouldn't hurt to let some of that have same thoughts as i to be able to do so, I knew few ppl in my guild think the same way as i do, and it's made it so they have not made either of those 4 classes because of don't like the Pre for Factions * Nightfall, But would like to play 1 of the or all of the 4 classes i mentioned.

But as i said in beginning of the post not really expecting a good reply from folks of this because of how A-Net made the game. just figure be cool to be able to do. Or even do a weekend only or a full week only to make the chars you want as long as you have the other chapters combined with your 1st one to make and cross over from Pre.

Say if you ONLY got Factions with Proph. then you can ONLY make additional Ritualist or Assassin, or same with Nightfall only with Proph or the ppl with just Factions & nightfall be able to make Dervish & Paragon as well.

But anyway there my 2 cents of blabber to a idea i really would like to see, evern for 1 week only event to be able to make them.

love it always wanted to try other professions but i get bored in Shing Jea and Istan

While I actually prefer the pre stages in Nightfall and Factions, as I think its far too slow in Prophicies, I understand the request and agree that it would be nice to be able to create these professions in other chapters that you have.

However, there are a number of reason why I don't think this will be implemented.

Primarily I think that there would be far to much work to do to achieve it. It's not simply just allowing you to create these characters, but it involves new NPC to give quests for that profession, new armour intorduced to the chapter, new weapons, and skill trainers would have to be updated. I'm sure there are many more changes that would be required, It's not as if you could create these characters there without these changes, and Anet have said they have a lot of work to do, which is delaying them on some of the major updates they are striving for.

The second reason for it not being done would be that it goes against the lore of the game, these 4 professions have be stated to be unique to their respective lands, Being able to create them elsewhere would make this statement in the lore rediculous, as if you could train an assassin in Elona or Tyria then they would not be unique to Cantha.

With these two points in mind I must therefore not agree that this idea should be implemented, even though I would have enjoyed being abel to make those classes elsewhere

Personally if it only works if you own all 3, then I dont see why not. Its a reward for buying them all, and an insentive to do so.

I understand would take some work, But i'm not expecting to get skills like you do when make a char in Proph. I'm meaning more like when you get skills from Factions or Nightfall, which you have to buy them all. and to put in a npc in Pre-Searing when you walk outside of ascalon here go kill couple skale for skills like you do anyway, but stuck with them until you actually buy them from skill trainer, and to put the 4 classes of skills at the skill npc's in Post-Searing wouldn't be that hard, since it's in the game anyway when the NPC's see's you with 1 of the 4 classes for 2ndary.

I didn't think about the Armor part, but still i wouldn't think be that hard for it. I'm not saying to keep this as a full thing but as like a reward for buying ALL 3 Chapters for that long stretch between the Expansion and GW2, Gives something for Anet to think about, Maybe if Gaile see's it maybe might tweak a hmmmm well maybe and run it by the other Dev's dunno.

Just all i know is it has made it so i don't make any of the 4 classes, i've made them when 1st came out but deleted them because me personally don't care for there Pre's to much. And i know i'm not the ONLY one out there that has same thoughts as i do, it's few and far between, but there are still ppl, Such as ppl in my guild, not all of them just couple.

Guess shame on me for can't stand certian area's in the game to exclude me to try out the other classes because of being limited on where i have to make them.

And i also know that got 2 unique classes for both them chapters, but saying that on how they put it guess means not 1 class in Proph. was unique enough to be made ONLY in Proph, but you can make them in all 3 chapters.

As William pointed out, its not feasable. There are no skill trainers, quests, armor, etc tied to the sin or rt in phrophecies. Try getting to LA with only the 2-3 damage starter daggers and the original presearing armor and see how that works out for you.

I've also been thinking about this for a while, and although I'd like to see it, it's probably not going to happen.
