But do firy dragon swords drop more often in the shiverpeekes?
I recently made a 55 monk to farm with and while I was farming trolls I got 3 firy dragon swords
I've never got then anywhere ellse but I looked them up on guildwiki and it says they are random drop everywhere in each campaine

Try dead sword farm?? i've had quite a number of FDS there...even had a gold one once but with crappy req......and they're inscribable too

They're a core weapon, so they drop EVERYWHERE. Best bet is to farm some stuff in NF, so you get an inscribable one. Try insects, they're easy. Oh, and Kournan Soldiers too I think.

Got mine in UW as well, Req9 with all the perfect mods on it...

As a core item, your drop rate would be better if you stick to core areas (UW/FoW) since campaign specific skins arent going to drop there. But chances are still pretty abysmally low. Best bet would be to just buy one in my opinion.

Got my inscriptable gold R9 from a djinn in NF in hard mode. Hideous skin, and since you can't change the hilt to something good, I sold it as fast as I could in town for 15k. If you don't care that the hilts are fixed (same problem with the IDS), then go for the fiery gladius instead. Much nicer animation. I got a couple gold ones of those from kournan soldiers outside the first couple of towns once you leave noob island in NF. (if you just want junky blue fiery dragons... last night doing the napui celestial mission thing in factions we had a couple of blue FDS's drop)

The flame djinns carry them, so i would guess they drop them too, so the Hidden City of Ahdashim (or whatever its called) would prolly be the best place to farm them.

Yeah the fiery gladius looks much better imo. But i think FDS drop more often =/ Atleast i've gotten more FDS than fiery gladius. As for where FDS drop, just farm normaly they drop everywhere. Also try hydras outside Augury Rock, i seem to get a LOT of them down there.
