What bugs me is that this game has such a ridiculous amount of booting from the game. Err 7's among many others are a huge problem for not only the players, but the team's they're on. (Not to mention the leavers).
If I had 1gp for every time I've been in a group and the monk has either left, or errored out, or someone else equally as vital to the team, I would have enough gold to buy 15k Armour for every single one of my characters!
It would be such a great addition if whatever class the person who left was could be replaced by a hench of the same class. That way the rest of the team could finish the mission, or quest, or whatever they were doing. Thoughts?
For some reason the search option doesn't work on my computer, so I apologise if this has been suggested already. If it has, feel free to close this thread.
Replace leavers with Henches.

Think it needs to stay strictly to PvE missions and quests though, as well as vanquishing (ie, not AB of course, annoying as the example given was).
I have often wondered why this has never been implemented. Maybe there is a good reason, but I need more coffee apparently before I come up with it. I think the idea has come up before, but I dont know the result of the thinking. For an Err7 where the player cannot reconnect, as well as for an instance of outright leaving, I dont see a problem with it. Might help the comfort level of some with PUGs a bit more.

My 2 cents on the matter:
- Immediately after a human player would leave, you would have the option to replace that player. Resurrection shrines could also be a good place to go and make new additions to your party.
- New party players had to inherit any bonus or penalty from the previous player.
- If departure was due to a network problem, the player could still be allowed to re-enter and re-take his place in the group.
- Only alllowed in PVE.

Compare this to GWs, which in 18 months has only kicked me out about 5-6 times! For a non-fee game, it does pretty well in terms of stability.
But im /signed for replacing err7 and leavers with henches!

It would be nice if the hench is the same type of char of the person that left. E.g. If a monk left, you'd get a monk hench.

Now for some whining:
I was looking for a party to kill Glint lately. We were about to enter when a ranger showed up. As he was eager to kill the dragon and had Broad Head Arrow (A skill that makes it a lot easier to slay the beast) I kicked my ranger hero (also equipped with said skill) on the basis that People Are Better Than Heroes and let the ranger join us. During the mission, upon caping a skill, the ranger typed "bye" and left.
I say: let us replace leavers/disconnectees with henches or heroes of our choice (that the party members have, of course).

Great idea, but GW's probably heard about this idea at least 100x in the past 2 years. They gave us reconnects, and that's probably all we're going to get.
