Freezing gust can be casted prior to gust on monks and Blurred vision on an attacker.
The build would be a flag runner. If there arent enough hexes, have a blinding surge ele join with Deep Freeze.
Is gust useful for anything? If it doesn't work in a running build, how is it supposed to be used?
Any use for Gust?

Tbh... I never really found much of a use for Gust.
Gale is non-conditional, and doesn't hog an elite spot.
Water Trident is more spammable (and it's not hard to nail a moving foe in PvP... )
In all honesty, I don't like relying on hexes to do stuff... Far too many opportune Veils and Diverts flying around for my liking...

Annoying condition to fulfill + longer recharge than gale = bad spell.

Play gust like you might play a tclapper, not that you probably would. Arcane echo gust and throw gales or shocks in between gusts and echoed gusts to keep someone floored for as much as possible over a 20 second period while your team gets to work. It's not as fragile and has more utility. Works fairly well in TA. Could use some armour penetration.
