How to make 'old' black dye?

as in the title
I guess that some time ago there was a post about how to make 'old' black dye, but I can find it now
could someone pls be so kind and share the secret?
i'm interested in redying female Ranger Fissure Armor if that matters

There is no secret as how to make old black dye. Dye affects each profession differently and on top of that each armor of that profession differently. Use the dye preview to try different mixes and see if any matches what you are looking for. I remember a thread about how to make old black dye but it was based on necromancer armor. I remember seeing yellow and purple in some of those combinations i think but i can't be sure.
