It would be nice if there was a crafter in GW:EN that would inscribe weapons and alter Armor so that you can add insignia to it. That way it would be possible to get the stats on armor from Prophecies you want instead of having to just settle for what you get. I like the system Factions has where every piece of Armor has multiple variations and I like that the Nightfall armor is customizable. Prophecies Armor however is a different story the stats depends on which type of armor you buy, there are no variations.
A crafter could charge you a fee to inscribe items and armor. That way all crafter items ingame could be inscribed and all armor ingame would be more flexible to the players needs.
I already get all my armor infused, why not have someone who can inscribe it as well?
How do you guys feel about this?
Insignia and inscriptions in GW:EN

Good Morning! Read the news already?

They won't convert old weapons/shields/focuses to make them inscribable - they've already said that.
They have already allowed all armors (even existing Prophecies and Factions armors) to allow insignias. Go check your armor out and you'll see.

To bad about the old weapons, but there is hope. The last I had heard they weren't going to allow insignia on anything but Nightfall armor. So maybe by the time GW:EN rolls out they'll have a change of heart on the weapons inscriptions.

Weapons are tradeable. Armor is technically tradeable in the sense that it's useless junk to anyone else. Making all weapons inscriptionable, unlikely, but who knows, Anet seems to like making everything worthless as time goes on anyway.
