When they mean GW:EN is a not a stand alone game they meant i can actually see people killing monsters with or without joining in your party right? Same goes for missions right?
I need a clear answer please..

When they mean stand alone they basicly saying its an expansion, which means it dosn't matter which 3 campains you own, if you buy it you can play it with what ever one you have. But you can play the game with or with out real people, it will be up to that person. hope this helps.

To the question is GW:EN a standalone?
No its not. You have to own at least one of the three previously released games for it to work. Its an expansion of the current games.
By standalone they mean that you can buy that one chapter and play it by its self with out owning any previous ones or any that come in the future.
Ex. You can own GW:P and play without ever purchasing GW:F or GW:N. And the same goes with each of those, you can play any of those three with out having the other two.

Oh and 1 more question. Is GW2 the same as GW:EN as to the question i referred to on my first post seeing people etc and that?

gw:en is an expansion that is set to be released sometime later this year, it works off of the 3 chapters that have already been released.
gw2 is a new game, there will be new characters (you wont be able to bring gw1 characters over into gw2 as its supposed to happen 200 years in the future). gw2 is set sort of to beta in 2008 or 2009 with a release sometime after that.

GW2 Will be an entirely new game. It will basically be like World of Warcraft version of guild wars. Meaning it'll be a new mmorpg where you should be in 1 town where everyone is (not a bunch of districts).
