well like title says, my hero skills cannot be disabled. whenever i hold shift and click on it, it gets the regular check mark and the hero uses the skill. i've tried using both shift keys and none of them will disable. my keys aren't broken either. any ideas?

i believe that you use crtl+click to disable, not shit+click

My guildie has the EXACT same problem. It won't disable hero skills when you Shift+Click them. He said that it's never worked for him.

Hmm, I just tested on my hero's and it is shift-click..

There's 2 ways to actually disable skills.

1. Press the # next to their name and then shift-click on the skills you want to disable

2. Press K to bring up your skill selection window, go to the hero you want and then shift-click on the skills you want to disable.

I tried both these methods in both an outpost and an explorable area, and they worked for me. If you haven't tried both methods, try the one you haven't and see if that works..

Otherwise you can always try re-installing.. or contact GW Support and see if they have an answer for you..

ooh, try disabling any anti-virus, anti-spyware and/or mouse/keyboard software you might have running in the background. There is a slim chance it might be for some reason bliocking the shift-click on skills from working. Not really sure if/how it would do that.. but worth a try? *shrugs*

Go into options and see which key is bound to "suppress action", that's the key you need to hit.

yeah map it to a different key in the options window.....had to do this with print screen since my keyboard doesnt seem to have come with one .
I sometimes have problems with this function too, but I also have problems with both my shift key and my control key....though I think its the crummy cheap keyboard I have and not a game problem.
hope these suggestions help!
