i had this little idea.
there is so many differnt terrains that you go through in the game, sometimes you are running through bogs/sea/ mud and you stay eternaly clean.
i was thinking if you ran through something the bottom section of your feet & leg armor gets greener/darker/browner depending on what you went through and lasts untill you enter another area or come across anoter environment.
armor and terrrain.

Sounds cool, I like these subtle details, they make the game more "realistic".

Minor aesthitics are nice =o) Further on though, how about special boots/boot upgrades for special surfaces? Like FlameSlayer boots so you can traverse lava/coals/fire with reduced damage inflicted... Or Antivenom boots for Poisonous water ares...?

Nice idea, but I expect it would be a GW2 thing as it would require graphical enhancements. You would need textures for each region/area within the game to effect armor.
Lets hope they add this to GW2 when they up the graphics. But you do get footprints in the sand and snow :P!
But would that mean after you stand in a degen swamp, that your feet glow like their radioactive for about 10 minutes?
