Vampiric Spirit in PvP

I've recently taken an interest in this skill because of the extra health you can steal with it. So, would something like this work well?

Vampiric Spirit
Signet of Agony or Lifebane Strike/Shadow Strike
Plague Sending or Life Siphon
Vampiric Gaze
Blood Renewal
Insidious Parasite
Signet of Lost Souls
Generic Ressurect Skill

Tweaks and mods appreciated.

Vampiric Spirit tends to zero your energy real, REAL quick in PvP.
Post attributes please, so we can be of help. Btw, if you're using both blood and curses, Awaken The Blood might be a good idea.

Maybe a *bit* more energy management, but SoLS is definitely a good start. Not sure what you could use though. Maybe invest in a secondary? But that depends on how many att. points you *can* invest... it's a troubling skill really. Looks great at first but the energy issues are pretty big.

Add in Glyph of Lesser energy and remove insidious parasite that will help cut the loss of energy. Add in Awaken the Blood instead of life siphon/Plague sending to increase damage to kill things faster. Have 16 in Blood, 12 in Soul reaping. And have fun

and Shadowstrike is good too, just remeber u need to be fairly close to ur target to get the bonus lifesteal on them

Given the randomness of Vampiric spirit's targetting and the fact that it is poitn blank, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

brother in law ran into a necro running this skill last night in AB, they were alone and brother had his Ssaski warrior/ necro farmer build, with greneths balance.

he ran into him one time, and went for the easy kill, necro vs tank, no sweat. this necro used that skill, and stacked hexes or degens on him, he could live through the degen, but not ontop of the VS. he hit him 3 times with GB and almost got him to half health a few times he said, but before he could cast it again, the necro killed him.

brother is VERY good at farming and knows his builds, and this one surprised him, and killed him. Id like to know WHAT other skills HE used hehe.

granted this build will stink in ANY PvP UNLESS your totaly alone, like they were, the VS wont trigger on same guy, but when alone, he said it is the worst thing hes seen in a long time.

any tips on that build, would like to use it to just have for fun.
